Our partnership with BP is focused on best practices for oil and gas development, climate change issues and overall support of CI's biodiversity conservation efforts.

BP has participated as a founding member of the corporate consultative group providing critical support and input into the development of the Integrated Biodiversity Assessment Tool (IBAT) for business.  This tool was developed in partnership with leaders from the conservation and business communities to facilitate access to critical biodiversity datasets for key decision-makers within the private sector. 

BP was a member of the Energy & Biodiversity Initiative, convened by CELB to promote best practices for integrating biodiversity conservation into upstream oil and gas development.
