SC Johnson

SC Johnson, as a Founding Partner of Team Earth, is joining CI at an exciting launch event in NYC during the UN's Climate Week to bring attention to the need to protect tropical forests in any effort to halt climate change.

Guided by the wisdom of a blue-ribbon panel of the world’s best scientists, Team Earth is a cross-sectoral collective action platform that will galvanize the scaled impact of leading companies, powerful brands, NGOs and others to come together to address the most critical issues facing people and the planet.

Our partnership with SC Johnson is focused on climate solutions and providing overall support of CI's biodiversity conservation efforts.

In 2005, SC Johnson made a second investment in CI's Conservation Carbon Program. The investment, which will offset the carbon impacts associated with the printing and distribution of SC Johnson’s 2005 Public Report, will be used to help fund the protection of Madagascar's Northeastern forests.

In 2004, SC Johnson invested $50,000 in CI's Conservation Carbon Ecuador Project to fund project work that will offset the carbon impacts associated with the printing and distribution of every SC Johnson Public Report dating back to 1991 as well as office paper for the past two years.

SC Johnson is a member of the Climate, Community and Biodiversity Alliance, a group of companies and NGOs committed to developing tools to combat climate change, while contributing to biodiversity conservation and sustainable development.
