Seeds of Change

Our partnership with Seeds of Change is focused on creating environmentally sustainable agriculture techniques that also support farmers in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest.

In March 2007, Seeds of Change and CI announced its partnership to create an environmentally sustainable cacao industry in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest where both cacao farming and biodiversity are in jeopardy. Expanding and strengthening agricultural practices of traditional cacao farming will help to naturally protect the Brazilian Atlantic Forest and at the same time benefit the livelihoods of cacao farmers.
