We are a diverse team of experts and advocates for conservation. And we ask everyone to join us in our mission to preserve life on Earth.
Whose Job Is It Anyway?

Conservation is everyone’s job. We as human beings are gatekeepers of a wondrous planet that sustains an incredible diversity of life. We alone are responsible for its continued well-being. Yet our home is under increasing pressure because of us. As we stand at the precipice of both disaster and opportunity, we have a choice: we can change our behavior and take measurable steps to preserve the natural balance of life, or we can do nothing and hope for the best.

At Conservation International, we work hard to find practical solutions to a global crisis that threatens the future of humanity. Our staff – over 600 deeply passionate and conservation-minded souls – span the globe, trying to balance the needs of the environment with the needs of people.

Our truly international workforce represents dozens of wildly divergent nations, languages, viewpoints, and spiritual beliefs. But we do have one important thing in common: a firm belief in the urgent need to conserve Earth's remaining biological diversity for generations to come.

We all benefit from a healthy planet, but we can’t get there alone. Together we can – and we must – take action and do more. We invite you to join us in our efforts.
