Why Give

Your gift to CI benefits us all. It supports healthier rain forests and oceans, growing populations of plants and animals, and prospering communities. But here are a few special benefits, and a big thank you, just for you.

Donate Now

In 21 years, with generous donations from people like you, CI and its partners have safeguarded more than 143 million acres of natural habitat worldwide - a collective area so large it could be seen from space. By protecting and restoring bamboo and tropical rain forests, for example, our scientists and program officers are saving irreplaceable species.

And because healthy forests store carbon and provide natural resources, we are addressing climate change and promoting local human well-being at the same time. That means your dollar has a triple impact.
