SWOT Report – The State of the World's Sea Turtles, Vol. III

Conservation International and the IUCN Marine Turtle Specialist Group

The State of the World’s Sea Turtles, Vol. III is produced through a partnership led by Conservation International (CI) and the IUCN Marine Turtle Specialist Group (MTSG). However, the lifeblood of the effort is the network of more than 400 conservationists who contribute data to the SWOT database, which provides the only comprehensive, global perspective of sea turtles.

This volume includes numerous articles by sea turtle and marine specialists focusing on the state of the world's sea turtles, their habitats, sea turtle policy and economics, and raising awareness of sea turtle and marine issues. This third volume includes a special focus on the global status of hawksbill turtles
