Global Conservation Fund
Our Portfolio

Our portfolio includes projects designed to create or expand conservation areas and ensure ongoing management supported by a long-term financing mechanism. The current portfolio covers more than 100 critical areas for conservation.

GCF supports a range of conservation area strategies, including traditional government-managed protected areas, conservation concessions, privately owned/managed areas and communal areas, such as indigenous territories with conservation agreements.

We also contribute to projects at a range of scales, from the establishment of landscape-scale conservation corridors that may include multiple conservation areas to innovative structures designed to succeed within the unique parameters of a particular site.
