Conservation International Europe and Global Public Partnerships raise funds and manage grants to provide long-term support for conservation; influence European decision-making on the government and corporate levels; and reduce the European Union's carbon footprint through sustainable supply chains.
Prior to this role, Herbert was director of strategy integration for Boeing's Global Corporate Citizenship programs, managing a portfolio of projects covering the environment, sustainable biofuels and supply-chain management in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and the Americas. He also designed Boeing’s Corporate Social Responsibility and Citizenship and Community Affairs strategies.
Herbert holds a master’s degree in political science from Louvain University and a master’s degree in European studies from the College of Europe. He completed further studies at Cambridge and Cranfield Universities and at Harvard Business School.
